i have done posts before linking to rad things on this site [see ted leo] but i have spent the better part of my day sifting through this site and its fucking big. so much new content its great.
its really hard to get this website in scope because its pretty vast. but lets just say its a music site. thats fairly vague enough not to norrow the focus.
lets start with the section called The Brain. its not your average music webzine. weekly updates about various bands is great but the cherry for this site is the Eye, video interviews and live performances from all your fave or soon to be fave underground bands.
They also have a section where they host websites for various bands. if you check the info section you can see it started because
"we wanted to honor some of our favorite bands with websites. These bands either had a lousy idol worshipping fan site, a corporate site which ignored a band's career outside of the label or no web site at all. "
on top of that they have a radio stream that works in most mp3s players that can do streams, a list of store where you can get brainwashed merch, and music from likewise underground labels as well as compilations from the official Brainwashed Label.
all in all this is a great site to discover new music and find out more information on bands you already like. Brainwashed.com paired with Epitonic.com can really take hours and hours out of your day when applied properly.
